Art Wars founder and curator, Ben Moore decided to use his two white Stormtroopers “as a force for making art with”. Initially “setting a stormtrooper free” by painting it pink, the subsequent notoriety led to the opportunity to curate an exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in 2013. Since then, Art Wars has become an ongoing exhibition of life-sized Stormtrooper helmets that have been transformed into highly collectable pieces of art by some of the most talented artists in the world.
