The Cultlings are busy. Deep within the dark woods, among the mushrooms and ancient stone circles, they work in secret with fanatical vigor. They’re finally close to perfecting the dark ritual that will open a gateway into the dimension of their deity, as foretold. ​That dimension is ours…and that deity is you! ​

When you mint a Cultling, you become its deity. Once the magic number of 333 Cultlings have been minted (half of the total supply), you’ll gain the ability to stake your Cultlings by temporarily sending them back through the gateway to their world, where they will continuously worship you from afar with sacrifices and burnt offerings. This will come to you in the form of $ESSENCE tokens, which you may then use within the Cultlings ecosystem (to mint more Cultlings, for example) or convert to ETH at your leisure. Each Cultling you hold will also entitle you to one vote when it comes to Cult matters and decisions. You, the deities, will control the fate of the project. Vials of blood, which will morph them in some way? Breeding or self-sacrificing abilities? Fractional ownership opportunities? The dark and wonderful secrets of the Cultlings world are yet to be fully discovered… ​In addition, 10% of all revenue will be donated to The Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
