Kyoto 3088 is strictly a line of 8888 women. The story takes place in the distant future and surrounds women gaining back power in a dystopian patriarchal society. Kyoto 3088 incorporates various species of women which includes androids, alien-hybrids, and humans. The KYOTO 3088 art is heavily influenced by 90s anime, with an emphasis on women's empowerment. The designs highlight the belief that each woman can be anything she wants in life. As stated by Mai, our lead artist, “I chose this style as it blends the ordinary and strange, with vibrant colours and an inviting aesthetic. All of these qualities mimic Kyoto itself - with it's mesmerizing old town, and unique vibe.
