Uncle Mermaid is a collection of 10,000 middle-aged mythical underwater creatures who are swimming in the blockchain. Life as a mermaid is magical… ONLY if you’re a mermaid princess who stars in Disney movies! The rest of us are Uncle Mermaids. Uncle Mermaids aren’t born with perfect genetics or have a god-like physique. We’re imperfect in every way but we always live our best lives possible. 

Uncle Mermaids are always swimming against the current and we always make the biggest splashes. As the legend goes, when a community of Uncle Mermaids gets together, we can accomplish the impossible… like swimming from the bottom of the ocean all the way to the moon.

WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT UNIQUE

This project started off as a TOY IP in South Korea, and it gained a large fanbase across Asia. Now we are revamping this IP into a global NFT project with utility for all our community members. 

Just as important as the community is the founders behind the project. We are a creative studio based in US & Korea and we’ve been working together for the past decade and we have vast experience in the creative media industry from animation to games to toys, and now in the blockchain and NFT space. So we are confident we can quickly and efficiently execute our roadmap.
